This case presents interesting questions as to whether firearms initially seized following the issuance of a domestic violence complaint must be returned to the defendant, Raymond Freysinger, given allegations by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office that he is an habitual drunkard, an alcoholic, and/or poses a threat to the public at large, and more particularly, to his girlfriend.
