In this action, Plaintiff Marilyn Shoemaker (“Plaintiff”), suing as curatrix on behalf of her son and interdict Albert Purcell Shoemaker (“Shoemaker”), seeks compensation for injuries suffered by Shoemaker aboard an inland drill barge owned and operated by Defendant Estis Well Service, LLC (“Estis”).
