The plaintiffs husband collapsed and died after participating in a cycling class at a fitness and recreation facility owned and operated by the church. Although the cycling class instructor and others present at the fitness facility attended the plaintiffs husband and called 911 soon after his collapse, they did not utilize the automated external defibrillator (“AED”) on site at the facility.
