CARMICHAEL, Judge:

Pursuant to his pleas, appellant was convicted by a military judge sitting as a special court-martial of separate specifications of wrongful possession, wrongful distribution, and wrongful use of hashish, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934 (1982) [hereinafter cited as UCMJ], The trial was completed on 28 October 1983.
