This is a contract dispute between the operator of a salt mine, Morton Salt, Inc. (“Morton”), its equipment service contractor, Scott Equipment Company, L.L.C. (“Scott”), and Scott’s insurance carrier, Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company (“Liberty”). The district court granted summary judgment in favor of Liberty, finding that Liberty’s insurance policy did not extend coverage to Morton.
