The plaintiff appeals from the trial court’s denial of its application to vacate an arbitration award pursuant to General Statutes § 52-418 (a) (4).1 The dispositive issue is whether the trial court improp*670erly refused to vacate an award in an unrestricted submission because of the arbitrators’ alleged manifest disregard of applicable law. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
