The father here appeals from a final decree of the Circuit Court of Pickens County awarding the custody of his four-year-old son to his former wife and the mother of the child.

*218It appears from the record before us that appellee, on May 29, 1963, pursuant to her petition, was granted a, final decree of divorce a vinculo matrimonii from .appellant by the Circuit Court, in Equity, of Pickens County on the grounds of statutory cruelty.
