A jury convicted appellant Rafael Alexander Avellaneda of felony murder based on the felony of injury to a child. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. §§ 19.02(b)(3), 22.04(a), (c)(1) (West 2011). Appellant challenges his conviction in three issues. Appellant argues in his first two issues that the trial court abused its discretion when it denied his motion to suppress his custodial statement because it was not given voluntarily.
