STROUD, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a judgment entered upon his conviction for breaking or entering a motor vehicle and his guilty plea to attaining habitual felon status. We find no error.

The State's evidence at trial establishes the following factual background. Officer Dwayne Diaz of the Greensboro Police Department conducted a routine patrol through a parking lot around 2:00 a.m. on 20 April 2013.
