These are appeals from judgments entered in negligence actions after a jury trial in the Supreme Court, Clinton County. In the personal injury case the jury returned a verdict of $75,000.

*412Respondent Patenaude, who sued for personal injuries, operated a tractor-trailer, the tractor of which was owned by the respondent Dairy Express, Inc., and the tank trailer by the respondent Fort Edward Express Co., Inc.
