TALIAFERRO, Judge.
Plaintiff, prior to the date he suffered the alleged accident for which he sues for compensation herein, had been in the employ of the police jury of Caddo parish for eight years or more. He performed the duties of blacksmith and woodworker, and in the discharge of his duties frequently lifted and moved heavy objects. He was connected with the highway department of the parish, and performed his duties at its warehouse in the city of Shreveport.
