Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Albany County (Maney, J.), entered July 10, 2014, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 8, for an order of protection.
Petitioner and respondent lived together as roommates in an apartment from August 2013 until April 2014, at which time petitioner left the residence — approximately four months prior to the expiration of the lease — as a result of alleged incidents of domestic violence perpetrated upon her by respondent.
