ELLIS, Judge.

This is a medical malpractice case, brought by Mr. and Mrs. Albert LeMay, Jr., for the death of their minor daughter during the performance of a tonsillectomy on her by Dr. William L. Travis. Defendants herein are General Accident Fire & Life Assurance Corporation, Ltd., Dr. Travis’s professional liability insurer, and Argonaut Southwest Insurance Company, liability insurer of Seventh Ward General Hospital, where the operation was performed, and which was the employer of Mary Margaret Forrest Mixon, the anesthetist during the operation.
