The appellees, Henry B. Kouwenhoven and his wife Clara F. Kouwenhoven, as the plaintiffs below (the Kouwenhovens), sued the appellant and defendant below, the Continental Insurance Company (the Insurance Company) in the Circuit Court for Worcester County to recover losses under a Homeowner’s Policy issued by the Insurance Company to the Kouwenhovens. The action was removed to the Circuit Court for Wicomico County and was tried by a jury which rendered a verdict for $3500.00 in favor of the Kouwenhovens.
