Before the Court is the objection of Defendant Ealion Lee Lance to the use of a previous conviction for the rape of a child as a crime of violence for purposes of his sentencing as a felon in possession of a firearm. (Docs. 71, 73-74.) The Government opposes Defendant’s objection. (Doc. 72.) The parties argued the objection before the Court, and the Court took the objection under advisement. (Doc. 77.)
