I must respectfully dissent. The trial court based its decision in this cause on our Supreme Court’s holding in Pender v. McKee, 266 Ark. 18, 582 S.W. 2d 929 (1979). Although the decision is instructive regarding certain aspects of the case at bar, it is in no way controlling. I do believe that the trial judge was correct in relying on Pender in his finding that the appellant had failed to significantly support the parties’ minor child for a period of one year.
