The defendant, Robert Ward, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of *379criminal possession of a firearm in violation of General Statutes § 53a-217, carrying a pistol without a permit in violation of General Statutes § 29-35, criminal trespass in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-109 and criminal mischief in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-117.
