The assignments of error shown by the record' present a number of legal questions of both interest and importance. • In the court below, the plaintiffs made several exceptions pendente lite, on which error was assigned. The trial having resulted in a verdict for the plaintiffs, the defendant assigned as error the overruling of its motion for a new trial, by which it presents many exceptions to the rulings and charge of the trial judge, which, if well taken, will work a reversal of' the judgment overruling the motion to set aside the verdict and grant a new trial, as a matter of law.
