This is an action in conversion, begun by tbe plaintiff against tbe Tanner-Jones Drilling Company, hereafter called the defendant, the sheriff of Big Horn county, and the sheriff’s bondsman, to recover tbe sum of $25,000, tbe alleged value of casing seized and disposed of by the sheriff at the direction of the defendant.
