This case comes before the court on application by plaintiff Florida Rock Industries, Inc. (Florida Rock) for attorney fees, litigation expenses and compound interest pursuant to the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970. While defendant concedes that some award should be made to Florida Rock, it contends that Florida Rock’s request should be substantially reduced to reflect what the government considers were the reasonable hours expended by plaintiff’s attorneys and the reasonable expenses incurred.
