This is an appeal by an employer from an adverse decision by the district court in a workers’ compensation case in favor of the plaintiff employee. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

Plaintiff, Steven Godeaux, was injured on July 24, 1989 in the course and scope of his employment as an iron worker with Lewis Chapman Construction Company (“LCCC”), a sub-contractor of Guy' Hopkins Construction Company, Inc.
