Robert Gethen Johnson appeals his conviction by a Clark County jury on one count of first, and four counts of second degree assault, as well as the offense of carrying a concealed weapon. His primary arguments are against several of the court's instructions to the jury and the competency of his trial attorney. Consolidated with this appeal is defendant's personal restraint petition filed pursuant to RAP 16.3 through 16.15. The single issue raised in the petition is the competency of his trial attorney.
