Plaintiff was injured while cutting logs for the Kent Piling Co., Inc., on March 28, 1941, and he brought this suit against his employer and its compensation insurance carrier, T.H. Mastin Company, for compensation for total and permanent disability for a period not exceeding 400 weeks on the basis of 65% of his weekly wage of $18. He was paid compensation in the sum of $318.50 at the rate of $6.50 per week for 49 weeks.
