*329Guy H. Fuller, nineteen years of age, was convicted by a jury on an indictment charging him with seducing under promise of marriage Shirley M. Jackson, an unmarried female of previous chaste character. The verdict fixed his punishment at confinement in the penitentiary for two years. Upon the verdict the lower court entered the following order to which a writ of error has been allowed:
