MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

WOLF, District Judge.

Plaintiff John Morgan, a black male, has brought this action pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, as amended, and 42 U.S.C. § 1981 alleging, among other things, that his former employer, defendant Massachusetts General Hospital (the “Hospital”), refused to promote him and ultimately discharged him because of his race. Morgan also alleges he was discharged in retaliation for his union organizing activities and his opposition to defendant’s discriminatory policies, and also as a result of defendant’s failure to take…
