Plaintiff Lafayette Insurance Company filed the present action seeking a declaratory judgment that its commercial general liability insurance policy issued to defendant Absolute Foundation Solutions (Absolute) provides no coverage for damages to the home of Edward and Heather Peer-boom, which the Peerbooms have claimed was caused by Absolute’s negligence in performing certain work on their home.
