After an eight-day trial, this case was submitted to the jury on two theories of liability: (1) an alleged “tying” arrangement in violation of the federal antitrust laws, and (2) a charge that, by eight separate misrepresentations, defendants fraudulently induced plaintiffs to sign a franchise agreement, in violation of the laws of Florida 1 In its answers to special interrogato ries, the jury found for defendants on the “tying” issue and for plaintiffs on the claim of fraudulent inducement of a contract.
