Appellant Nichkol Melanson appeals the dismissal of her state law tort action against United Air Lines, Inc. (“United”) for negligent and intentional misrepresentation, concealment, and promise without intent to perform. Melanson originally filed this action in state court, but United removed it to federal court, asserting diversity jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1332 and federal question jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and 45 U.S.C. § 151.
