COATS, Chief Judge.

Joseph E. Erickson was a passenger in a car that was stopped by Alaska State Trooper Joseph Hazelaar for not having a front license plate. Trooper Hazelaar asked Er ickson for identification. Erickson stated he had no identification. He identified himself as Chris Erickson and provided a date of birth. Trooper Hazelaar checked the Alaska Public Safety Information Network (APSIN) and found no record matching the information provided by Erickson.
