— Action in replevin wherein plaintiff seeks to obtain possession of certain specific articles of personal property or for the value thereof if same cannot be found, and damages for the wrongful detention thereof. No bond was filed by plaintiff as provided in chapter 643, Code of 1946. The petition was filed April 16, 1948. The action was against Herman Mennenga and the O’Dea Finance Company of Des Moines, Iowa.
