Defendant appeals from an order of summary judgment granted by the court below in favor of plaintiff.

On September 15, 1974 a collision occurred involving a motorcycle operated by plaintiff Under-hill and an automobile owned by James Hawley and operated by his daughter with Mr. Hawley’s consent. As a result of the accident, plaintiff suffered serious injuries resulting in a great deal of medical expense and lost income.
