FOR THE COURT:
¶1. A Marshall County jury convicted Larry Pointer III of murder and aggravated assault. On appeal, Pointer argues that the evidence was insufficient to support his convictions; that the trial judge erred by allowing the jury to hear unreliable testi mony from his grandmother; and that his convictions must be reversed because the trial judge failed to hold a pretrial competency hearing. As we explain below, there was sufficient evidence to support Pointer’s convictions, and the other issues that he raises on appeal are without merit. Accordingly, we affirm Pointer’s…
