On October 30, 1894, an information was filed in the district court of Pawnee county, Oklahoma Territory, sitting with powers of a district court of the United States, charging the appellant, Frank Labadie,. with cutting timber in that part of the Osage nation attached to Pawnee county for judicial purposes.
