OPINION

GOLDBERG, Justice.

In this appeal, the defendant, James Grant (Grant or defendant), challenges his conviction on charges stemming from the armed robbery of a Providence convenience store. Discerning no error, we affirm the judgment of conviction.

Facts and Travel

On February 9, 1999, at about 11 a.m., Lane’s Discount Store (Lane’s Discount or the store), a convenience store at 451 Hartford Avenue in Providence, was robbed for the first time in its fifty-three-year history.
