Appellant filed a petition for a writ of mandamus in the circuit court of Cook county in which it alleged that the W. Scheidel Coil Company and the Western X-Ray and Coil Company were separate corporations organized under the laws of this State; that the stockholders of the respective companies, in pursuance of a call of their respective boards of directors and of notice given as required by law, met separately and each voted to consolidate the two companies under the name of the Scheidel-Western X-Ray Coil Company, making the capital stock of the consolidated corporation $110,000, the sum of…
