WOODBURY, Senior Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal by the plaintiff below from a judgment entered pursuant to a district court order reducing the amount of a previous judgment entered on a verdict returned by a jury for the plaintiff by striking therefrom an award of punitive damages.

This action was brought in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma under its diversity jurisdiction, Title 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a) (1), for damages for an illegal search of the plaintiff’s house and home in Fair-view, Oklahoma. 1 The plaintiff-appellant is now and was at the time this…
