The plaintiff, N. K. Parrish, Inc., has appealed from the judgment of the trial court sustaining the plea of privilege filed by the defendants, Jose A. Navar, et al. Parrish sought to sustain venue under the provisions of subdivision 5(a) of the venue statute on the basis of purported contracts in writing consisting of certain Confirmations of Sale of grain signed by Parrish, but not signed by the defendants-purchasers.
