This appeal involves a claim for compensation under the workmen’s compensation statute (Pub. Acts 1919, chapter 123).

*634Wilson Milner, deceased, was a cook for tbe Patten Hotel in tbe city of Cbattanooga, Tenn., wbicb is operated by the defendant hotel company. On May 24, 1920, be was engaged in the performance of bis duties in tbe kitchen of the hotel. Evidence was offered tending to show that it was very warm in the kitchen, and that the deceased became too hot and was stricken with a fainty feeling.
