NORRIS, Judge.
The plaintiff, Judy Johns, appeals a judgment sustaining an exception of prematurity and dismissing her suit for workers compensation benefits. We affirm.
Ms. Johns filed a claim with the Office of Workers Compensation Administration (“OWCA”) on June 9, 1988. It alleged a bona fide dispute as a result of an injury she sustained while employed by Libbey Glass on February 4,1987. By letter dated July 7, 1988, the director of OWCA recommended that the claim was prescribed as it was filed over one year after the accident. LSA-R.S. 23:1209.
