R. DORSEY WATKINS, District Judge.

In the first count of his amended libel the libellant claims $150,000 damages for permanent disability caused by the unseaworthiness of respondent’s ship, the Amoco Virginia, and for maintenance and cure for injuries sustained in the course of his duty while in the service of the ship. The second count claims $50,000 *383for “additional pain and suffering” caused by the negligence of respondent in negligently failing to furnish libellant with competent medical and hospital services and attention.
