ON REMAND FROM THE LOUISIANA SUPREME COURT

AMY, Judge.

|, Mrs. Thompson sustained injury in an automobile accident and filed suit in the City Court of Alexandria. The city court awarded general damages of $50,000.00 to Mrs. Thompson and an additional $50,000.00 to Mr. Thompson for loss of consortium and for medical expenses on behalf of the couple’s community. On remand from the Supreme Court of Louisiana, this court considers whether the judgment exceeded the city court’s jurisdictional limit in light of the award to the husband for the expenses on behalf of the community.
