GREENWOOD, Senior Judge:
¶1 Rodney Tangren appeals the district court’s entry of a default judgment against him—claiming the court lacked jurisdiction to enter the judgment and that he was entitled to receive notice of the default—and its *1154subsequent denial of his motion to set aside that judgment. We affirm.
BACKGROUND
¶2 In 1994, Tangren—as lessee—entered into a ninety-nine-year lease (the Lease) with the Tangren Family Trust. The Lease was fop property in San Juan County, Utah (the Property).2 The Lease required that each month Tangren would pay $150 rent, one-twelfth of the estimated…
