Petitioners have filed a petition pursuant to section 77.33 of the Mental Hygiene Law to remove the present conservators of Edith Brownell and have filed objections to their account upon the grounds of self-dealing, failure to obtain a greater return of investment upon the assets of the conservatee, and failure to sell a wasting asset and file annual accounts. Respondent Gwendolyn Cole, the present conservator, was paid the sum of $150 per week from September 19, 1978 to April 30, 1979 by retroactive order of this court entered November 6, 1978 for the…
