Liubov Volkova appeals her conviction for the murder of her husband, Jordan Whitson.1 On appeal, Volkova contends that the trial court erred by failing to properly instruct the jury on how to consider a particular statement she made to police and that her trial counsel provided constitutionally ineffective assistance.
