Phillip Sudduth filed this action in the State Court of Gwinnett County against Arnica Mutual Insurance Company and Barko Response Team, Inc., alleging, inter alia, that Barko was negligent in performing mold remediation services in his home and that he was sickened by exposure to mold. The trial court denied Barko’s motion for summary judgment, and Barko appeals, contending that there is no evidence that its alleged negligence caused Sudduth’s illnesses and, therefore, that it is entitled to judgment as a matter of law. For the reasons explained below, we reverse.
