The case was tried before Nelson, J., who at the close of the testimony granted plaintiffs motion for a directed verdict against Sigrid Tvedt. From an order denying her motion for a new trial, defendant appealed.

It appears from the record that on the twenty-first day of March, 1916, defendants máde and delivered to one E. D. Aldrich their certain promissory note for the sum of $2,000, due and payable on the first day of October, 1916.
