Petitioner is the defendant in a civil suit initiated by Gerhard Heinz Wolff, the real party in interest. In that action, Wolff alleged that the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office brought a nonsupport action against him pursuant to the Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act (URESA), NRS ch. 130. Wolff further alleged that the petitioner provided him with erroneous advice in administering its duties of child support enforcement under URESA.
