Stayton, Chief Justice.—

In accordance with an order of the Com-

missioners Court previously made the county judge of Brazos County on September 20, 1886, advertised as follows: “Sealed proposals will be *58received at the office of the county clerk up to the 8th day of November, 1886, for a superintendent of the manual-labor and poor house farm for the year 1887.

“Bids will state:
“ 1. How much they will give for the land, 65 or 70 acres.
