Appeal (transferred to this court by order of the Appellate Division, Second Department) from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Bergerman, J.), entered November 2, 1988 in Rockland County, which, inter alia, granted plaintiffs’ motion for summary judgment and declared that defendant’s workers’ compensation lien against plaintiff Robert Layman was null and void.
