THIS MATTER is before the Court on Respondent’s Motion to Dismiss. The four primary issues presented in the instant action under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 are: (1) whether petitioner’s (“Bonds”) appellate counsel was ineffective for failing to raise federal and state speedy trial claims on direct appeal; (2) whether Bonds’ trial counsel was ineffective for failing to sufficiently cross-examine Bonds’ accuser; (3) whether the trial court erred in permitting evidence of Bonds’ prior conduct; and (4) whether the trial court erred in denying Bonds’ motion to…
